day one at work

it's late and i'm tired... should be sleeping early but after trying my best to faster get all my stuff done... it's still so late... today was my first day at work... let's start with the journey to work...


take note! IT'S A FACT!
a number of singapore office people are very INDECOROUS...


taking into consideration the trains are really packed with people in the morning... there are people who just don't understand the concept of giving way for people to exit the train before entering the train... they just got to FORCEFULLY squeeze their way through the exiting people making everyone feel like a can of sardine... it's really uncomfortable with the men who do that especially when there are women around... keep those hands to yourself and quit staring at women! that is so unglam!


looking at empty seats... i'm really suprised to see MEN rushing to place their butts on the empty seats... i see more women standing, even a pregnant woman had to stand while most of the men happily sat in their seats and stare... -_-" big turn off...


not only that, upon reaching the station to transit to another train... there is nothing in their brilliant minds that says "Excuse me?" they are literally "running" out of the train before the doors could be fully opened... and pushing their way through the crowd in the station not caring if they STOMP ON PEOPLE! sore feet i tell you... =(


the train journey is definitely unpleasant but i have no choice but to endure it for as long as i work office hours... sigh~ cons of working during the rush hours...


events at the office:
- briefing by HR
- took photo for staff card
- introduced to the BIG project team
- read installation manual
- read use cases
- munching on titbits
- listening to ipod
- trying my best not to doze off
