national day ahead

counting down to my holiday already...

"BALI, here I come!!!"

started working since i graduated, i have been longing for my annual getaway with my family... but it wasn't very hopeful at first because of my daddy's EXTREMELY busy schedule despite the ghost festival, which was suppose to have lesser business, usually... luckily national day is coming so that means a public holiday aka possibility of going for a holiday!

usually when my family wants to go on trips, i always wished i could stay back home as it was the festivals and i want to celebrate with my relatives and friends... but this time it was different... i have been bugging my daddy to go holiday literally everyday! malaysia is also fine with me... anything goes as long as it let's me take a break...

so before heading for my trip, my main concern was my precious pooch... going on a trip for more than one day so i can't possibly leave it at home alone... so many thanks to my poochie's care taker, nigel! =P isn't the first time he has helped me so i guess he's pretty experienced in taking care of dogs, can open pet hostel already... haha...

having my poochie well taken care of, now leaves my luggage.. which is STILL not packed... haha... roughly know what to bring, just need to start digging my closet for clothes... trips overseas gives me the chance to wear clothes, footwear, etcs that i don't get to wear locally... for example, boots : i see people wearing boots here but HELLO! temperatures at 34 degrees or higher and you want to roast your feet? i love boots but i won't wear it in this country...

ever since 9/11 and suicide bombings, almost everyone shys away from those countries... natural disaster also made people turn their heads away from the affected countries, as in not considering these places as holiday getaways... but for my family, it works anti-clockwise...

believe it or not, my daddy finds it thrilling to go back to these countries... seeing the possibility of encountered such situations, it attracts him, probably... hahaha... we have come up with 4 ways which is possible for us to perish...

1. Suicide Bombing
2. Terrorist Aircrash
3. Tsunami
4. Bird Flu

seems practical tho, who knows what might happen right? so in preparation for our departure not knowing if my family and i could return, i suggested this contingency plan... when we go overseas we purchase insurance, so for this case if we were to ***(touch wood)... our beneficiary shall be under, my animals! =) at least this can ensure, in one way or another, my animals will be taken care of if we can't make it back...

working tomorrow so i better get some rest... enjoy your week ahead people!
