stay happy
of all the wakes i have been to, last night's was the most heart wenching...
we ain't close like buddies, but the exchange of chats and company were still fresh in mind... it was very shocking when i got the news, at first it was like all the questions: why? how? when? but upon seeing his photo on the table, i lost my speech, thoughts and everything was a *blank*... suddenly reality kicks in and it was like telling me in the face, "yes... he is really gone"...
for the first time in my years, i have to attend a friend's departure from this world... the moment reality hit me in the head, i felt like crying... tears filled my eyes, till i was on the verge of just dropping on the table and sob... but when i look at the guys around me, i know they felt the lost too... some were quiet and just sat there staring into space, others were talking about other things trying not to dwell on unhappy things... they were trying to be strong, not just for themselves, but for a dear friend of their's who have just lost a loved one...
*pat on all the guys' back* cheer up and be strong! and as peter says, "everything also must say ok?"
to him who has left us, i hope you have no more worries and bless your soul with happiness... we will all be missing you...
